  • 1. Eligibility Criteria- You must demonstrate that you intend to visit for a short-term stay for tourism, visiting family or friends, or for business purposes. You must also meet health and character requirements.

  • 6. Propose of visit- You'll need to provide information about the purpose of your visit, including details of your itinerary, accommodation arrangements, and any activities you plan to undertake in Australia.

  • 7. Evidence of funds- You must demonstrate that you have access to sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay in Australia, including accommodation, transportation, and daily living costs.

  • 8. Health insurance- It's strongly recommended to have health insurance coverage for the duration of your stay in Australia.

  • 9. Character Requirements- You must meet the character requirements by providing a police clearance certificate from Nepal or any other country where you have lived for more than 12 months in the past 10 years.

  • 10. Proof of Ties to Nepal- You need a proof such as proof of employment, property ownership, or family commitments, to show your intention to return after your visit.

  • 11. Letter of Invitation (if applicable)- If you're visiting family or friends in Australia, a letter of invitation from your Australian host may be required. This letter should include details of your relationship, the purpose and duration of your visit, and arrangements for your stay in Australia.

  • 12. Visa fee- A non-refundable visa application fee must be paid when submitting your application. The fee varies depending on the type of visa and your individual circumstances.
